i dont really think that it makes any difference tbh just try it if it dont work then send to the anet help thingy and they will sort it out

I have a German Prophecies collector's edition and I was unable to add it to an existing US account with Prophecies regular and Factions collectors edition. I contacted Anet regarding this and the response was there could be nothing done at that time. This was about 5 months ago.
